PHILUSA Backs Manila Water Foundation’s World Oral Health Day Campaign with Cleene CLIO Toothbrushes

Carrying the theme “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life,” PHILUSA Corporation joined the World Oral Health Day campaign this March, supporting Manila Water Foundation activities and participating in the main event on March 16 at Culiat High School, attended by around 250 Grade 7 students.
Representing PHILUSA at the event were Rachel Enciso-Supremo, Marketing Head of the FMCG Business Unit; Jacquiline Pe, Category Lead of Personal Care (Cleene); Wendell Tallow, Associate Brand Manager of Cleene CLIO; Johanna Venice Dela Cruz, Category Lead of Baby Care (Babyflo); Rhina Manuel, Associate Brand Manager of Babyflo Baby Care; Miled Tolcidas, Zairelle Onayan, and Michaella Morato from the Human Resources Department; along with Kara Dioquino, Cesar Doronilla, and Rusty Bersales from the Warehouse team.


During the program, Rachel Enciso-Supremo delivered a message to the students on the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene. She reminded students to brush their teeth regularly using a trusted-quality toothbrush such as Cleene CLIO, while also practicing healthy habits, including moderating their intake of sweets and drinking water regularly to help maintain good oral health.
Observed globally every March 20, World Oral Health Day is led by the FDI World Dental Federation and is considered the largest international campaign dedicated to raising awareness about oral health. Through its annual campaign called Lunas, Manila Water Foundation conducts activities that promote proper toothbrushing, regular dental visits, and healthier food choices.
The 2026 campaign theme highlights the importance of caring for one’s mouth at every stage of life. Good oral health supports everyday activities such as eating, speaking, and smiling with confidence, while helping prevent oral diseases that may affect overall health.
During the program, the PHILUSA team supported the ceremonial toothbrushing activity. Aside from donating 1,250 Cleene CLIO toothbrushes, PHILUSA also hosted interactive games for the students and distributed other personal care products, including Cleene Ethyl Alcohol, Cleene Antibacterial Wipes, Babyflo Baby Wipes, and Wipe Cotton Buds.



Following the Quezon City event, Cleene CLIO toothbrushes will also be distributed during WASH Paaralan activities on March 18 at Talisay Integrated School and Panugnawan Elementary School; on March 19 at Dakit Elementary School; on March 23 at Calbayog Pilot Central School; and on March 26 during a WASH Pamayanan activity in Sitio Burog, Bamban, which serves an Aeta community.
Through these activities, PHILUSA continues to support programs that encourage students and communities to practice proper oral care and build lifelong hygiene habits.
