#KeepItCleene with Manila Water Foundation
Last October 15 2021, PHILUSA Corporation commemorated yet another successful Global Handwashing Day event together with longtime partner, Manila Water Foundation (MWF), in promoting proper hygienic practices starting with habitual handwashing. This valued collaboration which began in 2017 recognizes the challenges and obstacles our communities face as we continue the fight to end a global pandemic.
To this effect, more than 170 boxes of premium Cleene hygiene products were delivered to shelter-based institutions around Marikina City, Quezon City, Taguig City, the City of Manila, and Mandaluyong City. In particular:
- Meritxell Children’s Home Foundation
- Kuya Center for Street Children
- Islamic Education and Guidance Association Orphanage
- Missionaries of Charity (Home of Joy for the Sick Children)
- Alay Pagasa Christian Foundation
Under this year’s theme of WASH Institutions: HEALTH IN OUR HANDS, PHILUSA and MWF wish to reiterate the significance of protecting and nurturing the future, reaching out to vulnerable children in centers who are now ready to #KeepItCleene with the help of Cleene Antibacterial Foaming Hand Soap. Not only does it boast of antibacterial properties to ward off harmful germsand viruses, it moisturizes hands as it cleans, and comes in a variety of refreshing scents that make handwashing exciting every time.
Cleene and Manila Water Foundation hope to foster an even stronger sustainability partnership, advocating and raising awareness on proper handwashing using clean water and soap; a tried and tested method advocated by the World Health Organization as our best defense against COVID-19.
