PHILUSA Joins the Wellness Beat at Bacolod’s Back-to-Back Zumba Events
PHILUSA Corporation recently stepped onto dance floors to support back-to-back Zumba events in Bacolod City. Zumba, a dance-based fitness phenomenon, has gained immense popularity for its ability to combine exercise with fun and community engagement. With an advocacy to promote health and wellness through dancing, PHILUSA backed the “Move Chicken Move” celebration at the Megaworld – The Upper East on May 24, and the “Color Blast” summer dance party at CityMall Mandalagan on May 25.
Christian Cepeda and Fritz Cabutihan led PHILUSA’s support and involvement in these fitness events. Through its heritage brand, RHEA, the company provided product giveaways to participants by offering RHEA Alcohol, RHEA Superscent Oil, and Mentopas to aid in post-exercise care and personal hygiene. Through these offerings, PHILUSA aims to educate participants that wellness is a holistic approach. Post-care is as important as the warm-up and physical exercise, ensuring that participants can fully enjoy the benefits of their Zumba experience while taking care of their bodies.
The events also served as platforms to showcase the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and encourage participants to support brands that help social causes. PHILUSA deployed RHEA x Plastic Bank branded collapsible booths and merchandising materials, communicating the company’s advocacy to help prevent plastic waste from entering the oceans and strengthen livelihood generation for marginalized communities.
